From the moment I took a bite, I was blown away by the authentic flavors that took me straight to the heart of Southern cooking. The catfish is absolutely fabulous—crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and full of flavor. The mac ‘n’ cheese is a must-try, creamy and rich, with the perfect balance of cheese. The candied yams were sweet and perfectly spiced, and the hush puppies? Simply amazing—crispy, light, and perfectly paired with everything else. If you’re craving real soul food that tastes just like my partner’s Southern cooking, Cajun Country Cafe is the place to go. Highly recommend it to anyone! ”
“ Ate here for the first time today and had a great experience. We ordered fried chicken despite a gluten sensitivity because they said they could use a cornmeal batter. We also ordered ribs and our sides were jambalaya, collard greens and macaroni and cheese. All the dishes were good but the ribs were amazing. The only disappointments was the size of the peach cobbler. For 9 we expected a little more and would have preferred it served on a plate instead but it was good. We will definitely be coming back with the intent to try some of the other dishes but it will be hard not to order the ribs. ”

The candied yams are delicious and the catfish was delightful. I also had some gumbo for the first time, it was salty for my tasty but still really good. I would definitely recommend this place fir some quality Cajun food. ”

“ Went with my fiance and his family to show them some cajun food I grew up with. The restaurant was quiet and empty when we went, but I left pleasantly surprised! The hushpuppies and cornbread made me feel back at home, and my fiance loved his oyster po'boy :) Will gladly come back to this place for some lunch or dinner! ”
“ We are from South East Texas closer to Louisiana. This is probably the best Cajun food restaurant we have had. We had catfish and shrimp. The side was collard greens, Mac and cheese, red beans and rice, and dirty rice. Those sides we had was the best we have had from any Cajun restaurant. 5 star on the sides for sure... Great place to come and eat. ”
